@kjw47,
(kjw47. I am an old fellow)--------- Then one would think that you would have enough sense not to be caught in the trap set by the deceptive JW cult.--------- (
kjw47. I am a Jehovahs witness)-------- Exactly.---------
(kjw47. The religion that has Jesus)---------- The religion which has
‘A’ Jesus, but not the Jesus as preached by the apostles.--------
In his 2nd letter to the Corinthians 11: 4; Paul says, “You gladly tolerate anyone who comes to you and preaches a different Jesus, not the one we preached; and you accept a spirit and a gospel completely different from the spirit and the gospel you received from us.”
(kjw47. The religion that serves the same God Israel served when they served the true God= the Abrahamic God= YHWH(Jehovah) a single being God= The Father.) ----------Are you referring to the God whose name in English, is ’
WHO I AM’? and whose heir and successor carries the same name, Who, being in very nature] God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; See Philippians 2:6.
There was a man, who is recorded in your Holy Scriptures, who, at the age of 365 was taken up to the throne of the
MOST-HIGH and translated from a body of corruptible matter into a glorious and incorruptible body of brilliant and blinding light in order that He should never have to experience death. How important is this man in your religion? (The
Most-High is a title of God mentioned in the Bible)
The Archangel Metatron is also mentioned in the Pseudepigrapha, most prominently in the Hebrew Book of Enoch (also called Third Enoch), in which his grand title, "
The lesser YHVH" (The Son of The MOST-HIGH) resurfaces. It is also said that Metatron. The anointed one=CHRIST, was the angel who guided Israel through the wilderness. The Hebrew ‘JHVH’ translated to English, as seen in Exodus 3: 14; means, ‘I Am Who I Am.’
It was this man who was anointed as the heir and successor to the throne of the
MOST-HIGH in the creation who was translated into an immortal angelic being, who is referred to in Exodus 23: 20-23; ‘Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions:
FOR MY NAME IS IN HIM. But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice and do all that I speak (
Through him) ; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries. For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off, etc.
Christ is the English term for the Greek Χριστός (Khristós) meaning "the anointed one" It is a translation of the Hebrew מָשִׁיחַ (Māšîaḥ), usually transliterated into English as Messiah or Mashiach. The Hebrew word translated "anointed" is the verb form of the noun "Messiah."
The word “
CHRIST” means “The Anointed One.” Enoch was the one anointed by the Most-High in the creation, ‘The Lord of Creatures,’ as his Heir and successor, (
The Son of Man) who is Lord of spirits.
"The Book of the Secrets of Enoch" 22: 8; "And I fell prone and bowed down to the Lord, and the Lord with his lips said to me: "Have courage, Enoch, do not fear, arise and stand before my face into eternity."
And the archistratiege Michael lifted me up, and led me before the Lord’s face.
[Archistratege. Or, "the commander of the armies of the nations, named Michael."]
And the Most-High said to the glorious creatures that surrounded him, tempting them: "Let Enoch stand before my face into eternity," and the glorious creatures bowed down to the Lord, and said: "Let Enoch go [Or be released] according to Thy word."
And the Lord said to Michael: "Go take Enoch from out his earthly garments, and anoint him with my sweet ointment, and put him into the garments of my glory."
And Michael did thus as the Lord told him. He anointed me, and dressed me, and the appearance of that ointment is more than the great light, and his ointment is like sweet dew, and its smell mild, shining like the sun’s rays, and I looked at myself, and was like one of his glorious ones.
To translate something is to change it from one form to another. Hebrews 11: 5; “By faith Enoch was translated so that he should not experience death, and he was not found because God had translated him.”
How did the author of Hebrews know that Enoch was translated unless he had read the book of Enoch, which was held in great reverence by many of the church Fathers including Irenaeus, Origen and Tertullian, plus, it was cherished by the early Christians right up until the 4th century, when, after the ban by such dogmatic authorities of your mother Roman church as Jerome, Hilary and Augustine they finally passed out of circulation and were thought lost for millennia.
