Hello, I have a 14k gold ring, only had it for 2 weeks and it is turning silver! I asked the seller who replied; Its 14k gold plated over 925 sterling silver, pls keep it far away from water/chemical/sweat, if things happend, you can apply a layer of trasnparent nail oil on it to extend the life span of ring color.
My question is, is there anything I can do to restore the yellow gold?

Other than having it replated no.
Think of the gold as a layer of paint. Once the paint has chipped off you can't restore it, you have to repaint it.
