I agree Frank, Biden has done a great job and he's younger than some of our Senators and Representatives...........and he's smart. I think Biden is showing some of the physical signs of aging, his back is stiff and he doesn't move as smoothly as he did 10 years ago, but I think his mind is sound. Right now he sounds like one of the smartest democrats in the bunch.
I wish the Democrats had done a better job starting 20 years ago to support candidates and develop leadership, but thank God in recent years we had Nancy Pelosi or we may have well have started painting hammer and sickles on our vodka cups. I think our political parties are beginning to see themselves as religious groups (the good ones) and the others as (the bad ones). Too many people believe 'secular' means 'we hate God' and it doesn't, it just means it's not a religious group. And that's a good thing, I want my library to be secular, my medical advisors practice secular medicine, I want the courts to be secular.......because if I need a miracle I think I will have to pray and hope God isn't on vacation or hung-over that day. I want the country to be free to practice their religion, change their religion when they wish, and skip religion if they are not interested. We all have to do a better job than we've been doing.
