Facebook messenger

It's two separate apps on your phone so if you're on Facebook and get a message and click on it the messenger app will open.

When I want message someone and should press on ( message) in the page for that it sould be directed to messenger to start chatting with him, what happened is when I press on ( message) in that page, its just opening the messenger without open the box of his chatting, just opening the messenger but not with the page that I want to message him.
Its like direction from Facebook is to open messenger but no chatting.

Mine doesn't work that way at all, I had the iPhone 11, no issues, I now have the 13 and I don't have that problem.
