There is a commercial airing these days that has an attractive woman saying, "Age is just a number...and mine is unlisted."
Obviously it is one of those "Never ask a woman her age" kind of propositions.
Is that still a thing?
Do women still feel they should not let people know how old they are?
Why?
I'm not being snarky here...I truly do not understand the concept?
For any male who chooses to comment: Do you treat a woman differently if you know her age?
For any females who choose to comment: Do you suppose you will be treated differently by others if they know your age?
I recently turned 86...and I am proud of it. Just wondering about the people who want to hide their age.
@Frank Apisa,
I've never understood the concept either.

Nope. I guess if I thought a woman was in her 80s and then found out she was only 40, or vice versa, I might adjust my behavior.

Yeah...someone who looks 40 years older or younger than they are (male or female) would probably cause a reaction.
But the thought seems to be a bit demeaning to me. Maybe I am over-thinking it.
It's never bothered me unless I was underage in a bar
