Laiho is a decent guitarist but I don't like most of their songs. They're like pop-metal as far as I'm concerned although that song Bed of Razors is amazingly good....

Morbid Angel is death metal. Deicide is death metal. Hate Eternal is death metal.

COB are not. I guess we could throw them in melodic metal with In Flames, Soilwork and the ilk. But COB are kinda different. They're not jsut one genre. But they are the poppiest metal there is. And I'm not saying its anything near pop lol. I'm just saying its the poppiest metal since they're pretty catchy and mainstream sounding.
