Look at the individual cities. I have lived in Newcastle and it has a very vibrant night life, but you might prefer something else.

Good. I mean they're all very different, I think Bangor is quite rural and Liverpool is still all about the Beatles.

Honestly I'm stuck between Newcastle and Liverpool john Moores university

I really liked Newcastle, but the Geordie accent ca be a bit tricky.

I have only spent a few days in Liverpool it seemed quite nice.

Comparing the cities Newcastle and Liverpool...both of them are beautiful cities I'd rate 4 stars to Liverpool and 3.5 stars for Newcastle...But comparing the 2 universites...Newcastle university will win!

If you do go to Newcastle you'll find they drink a lot of scotch, scotch ale that is, not whisky.
