That's what "cancel culture" is. You take offense because someone was offended by you.

That's the best explanation I've ever heard for cancel culture. The phrase has always confused me because it's either a dig at so called liberal or so called conservative views.......But that's also the beauty of making up new terms for 'behaviours' that we either like or dislike, it's confusing and apparently that's the point.
