MY BLADDER TROUBLES ME

Now, the problem is not new. Back in the 60s when I was in high school (when you changed class every hour), I could not go through two classes without the welcome pee. After every bell, I would rush to the men's room to do my business. And, today, it is as bad, maybe a bit worse. I actually get up about six to eight times each night to pee. I have measured it: usually there are about 100mL of liquid discharged per trip.

This is the problem: I use public transport for everything. Although I have had a drivers' license since 1966, I have NEVER owned a car!!! Using SEPTA (SouthEasternPennsylvaniaTransitAuthority) to go everywhere, including the well-connected distant suburbs. I am an absolute authority on knowing where every bush, every wooded area, every 'vehicle' needed is, in order to satisfy that almighty pee.

What else is there to do? I have a prostate that is a whopping 152 mL in size. It elbows into the bladder and always has, leaving little space for the accumulation of urine. That is how I am put together. It is funny to talk about (I DO laugh) but it is also a matter that is ongoing. I refuse to buy adult diapers, as I cannot stand the thought of living next to a liquid for long periods during the day. Instead, I simply pee where I can, and usually get away with it.

Already, I can hear the moderators laughing about this, and I do join them in their laughter. It IS, really IS, funny to talk about or think about. If you have comments, present them. If you do not, simply do what you do best: demote this post. In advance, for either action, I do thank thee. - David Lyga

@david lyga,
Why don't you invest in a pee bag which you can empty out. You can hide it under your coat or in a man-bag. You just need a nurse or someone to insert the catheter.

@Mame,
Did not think of that. But I would prefer to insert the catheter myself. Wonder if doing so hurts? - David Lyga
