I have been paying it for 36 years, besides I had the physical custody and She just had right of visitation every other weekend

Like what was stated above just reach out to California child agency...it is obviously a mistake unless your children are disabled in some way and need your support.

Why would he be told to pay child support to the mother when he has/had custody anyway? That seems like an excessive amount of years to me. Usually it's either until they reach the age of majority or finish school.

Yes, She agreed to allow me the kids' legal custody, 2 years later, thru her attorney , she requested child support for just 4 days a month, suspiciously She lost her job the day before the court date, the Judge wrongly calculate the child support, I was able to reduce it to a minimum $ 36.00 a month and I have been paying since, my kids are now independent and financially stable, I just recently retired, the child support deduction obviously stop and to prevent any headache , I need to legally stop this child support for good

What haven't you told us? Why are 36 year old children still being collected for? How hasn't the dumbest lawyer been able to either explain it to you or get it fixed? How many support payments did you miss?
