I'll do a concert write up after the show in San Francisco.
I'm off to buy some ear protection.
Maybe. I'm hoping he does some of his newer stuff, that doesn't get airplay because he won't play the payola game. Like the Craveman CD.
"Black entertainer of the year"
.
Man he rocked. I was only about 10 feet from him for most of the show - thankfully I brought earplugs or I'd be deaf. He did old stuff, new stuff, rare stuff, great stuff!
He even pulled out "Baby Please Don't Go", duplicating what was probably the best rendition ever done (his).
The sound was a bit off - the vocals were sometimes hard to hear, but still, just great. Hard to believe three guys could pump out that much sound.
Well, not much interest I guess, but if you happen to read this, and like blues influenced loud and in your face rock & roll, don't miss the Nuge if he comes anywhere near your town.
Check out his tour dates here:

You won't be disappointed. Pissed maybe if you're a pacifist, but not disappointed.
I was definitely interested. I was just pissed cause you were going and I wasn't! Where was he playing in the City? Did Jack Blades come down from Sonoma County and play with him? I love Ted. He is never one afraid of putting it all out there and saying what he feels, both in song and real life.
Gotta get to the Bass Pro Shop and pick up one of his cookbooks one of these days....
Ok...just answered my own questions by reading your links.
I'm still envious though. Damn, I haven't been to the Fillmore in about 100 years it seems.....
I forgot to say that he did "CC Rider". What a Detroit classic!
