Can "His supply of dormicum sleeping tablets was especially serious" replace the original wording?

Not disagreeing with Mame but I would ask what dormicum is usually prescribed for, if it is as a sleeping tablet then you can replace the original wording as suggested.

If, however, dormicum is usually used for something else like pain relief you should not change the wording.
