dlowan--
The oldest complex organism on earth is the bristlecone pine.
Suppose Seed just needs a flare, a touch of divine fire, to blossom?
now where do i go about getting his divine fire?
When was the last time you managed a serious and sober conversation with a candle flame?
i dont do much drinking, but i dont think i have ever had a serious convverstation with a candle flame
Oh, alcohol does not bring about serious conversations with candle flames - LSD and THC do THAT.
I once had a cat who used to heve VERY serious conversations with candle flames when stoned....
My dog has had serious conversations with candle flames, much in the same way as dogs have conversations with anything, with her nose. But, it wasn't so much a candle flame as a camp fire.
awe thats sad littlek....
dlowan i have never had nicotine let alone THC or LSD
Well, dearest, there goes your career as an interlocutor of candle flames.
I guess you'll just have to follow in Prometheus' footsteps - but hold the vultures....
oooh, it's ok, she just burned off her whiskers.
i guess so... he following in Prometheus' footsteps wouldnt be that bad... i mean look at him now... everyone remembers him
Prometius, the greek who carried fire down from mt. olympus
Well, Seed, there's remembered and then there's remembered; Johnny Bench vs. Tony Conigliaro.
true... i want to be on the winning side of that remembering
He weren't no Greek - he were a Titan:
Prometheus
n. Prometheus, Titan who stole fire from heaven for the benefit of mankind and was punished for this by the gods (Greek Mythology) Dutch_English 22000

[Greek] Prometheus was the son of Iapetus who was one of the Titans. He tricked the gods into eating bare bones instead of good meat. He stole the sacred fire from Zeus and the gods. Prometheus did not tell Zeus the prophecy that one of Zeus's sons will overthrow him. In punishment, Zeus commanded that Prometheus be chained for eternity in the Caucasus. There, an eagle (or, according to other sources, a vulture) would eat his liver, and each day the liver would be renewed. So the punishment was endless, until Heracles finally killed the bird. Prometheus is known to be one of the most interesting characters in Greek Mythology.
oh i see well i was close!
And I was joking (sort of)
Well I think we've all learned something here today.
Please, sir - what did I learn?
It's better to be remembered as Johnny Bench rather than Tony Conigliaro, Grasshopper.
