If you recall Simon & Garfunkel's song, El Condor Pasa, change the words of the first line.
Example: I'd rather be a chainsaw than a tree.
Example: I'd rather be a jogger than the road.
Two syllables for the first object, and one for the second object.
I'd rather be an asshole than a jerk.
I'd rather be a stun-gun than the stunned.
I'd rather be the rainfall than a roof.
I'd rather be a mammal than a fish
I'd rather be a fire than a tree.
I'd rather be a fly swatter than a fly.
I'd rather be a windshield than a bug.
