"Fast backward to 1990"

Fast forward to 2021, and suddenly we’re in the process of creating a collaboration piece together with NOMOS.

Let's say we want to talk about 1990, do we say "Fast backward to 1990"?

Perfect. Fast forward references the button on a tape player to go forward rapidly. Rewind is the backwards counterpart.
