better vs best

These two brands are often considered during the purchase of a quality Swiss watch. Let's compare TAG Heuer and Oris to determine which brand is best for you.

Would "better" fit better than "best" in the context, since we are comparing two brands of watches TAG Heuer and Oris? If it is not so, what is the reason?

Thanks.

@tanguatlay,
Technically, it should be "better", for the reason you point out – a comparison between two things.

@hightor,
I don't think one trumps the other...while there is definitely a better solution it certainly is the case there is a best solution to. It is fair to say that the best solution might pose a bit of a bigger epistemic problem than just better which is a weaker assertion..which in turn has nothing to say on the fact that there is in fact a best solution.

In the context marketing wants to assert ABSOLUTELY there is no epistemic problem, no indecision, an OPTIMAL PERFECT SOLUTION, thus Best... and that is the clever thing to point out on why best is used more often than better which is a more humble approach.
