Imagine that after Bobsal, or Mame or your mother or your friend from college dies. Imagine that some asshole picks through their social medial posts and makes a political point. Some troll on the internet can say Bobsal was trying to get everyone vaccinated and he ended up dying of covid anyway, isn't that funny along with pictures of bobsal and quotes from bobsal mocking his beliefs and his family.
Does anyone here not think that would be horrible. Whether Bobsal actually died of covid, or whether they just made that up because it is ironic doesn't matter. It is a nasty, vulgar and cruel thing to do.
The only reason you accept it in this case is because you don't accept this gentleman as a human being.
This is death porn. The goal is a nasty attack on someone on the other political side; snarky dance on their graves.
We don't know if this man died of covid, or of a stroke or succumbed to cancer. Frankly it is none of your business or mine. The odds are that this man and his wife died of heart disease or cancer. Covid at its worst is the third highest killer.
There is nothing good about this thread. It something to make political extremists feel sexually aroused.
I support most progressive policies. I want LGBT rights. I want a pathway to citizenship. I want socialized medicine and sane climate policies. Democrats should be able to count on my vote (and up to this point they did).
When you yell down speakers at college campuses, support looting and make cruel posts mocking people who died... it is extremism and it is nasty and it is the reason that Democrats lose elections.
