During the darkest period, moral supports were like energy boosters. SMSes on my smartphone read: “Be strong, you will survive", "Don't give up hope", "We will pray for you", among others.
1. Is 'supports' correctly used? Or should it be "support was like an energy booster"?
2. Are there any errors in the sentence?

Even though you provide multiple examples of moral support in your second sentence, "
support was like an energy booster" should be used in the first sentence.
