There is some good news about the US Postal Service for a change. President Biden has announced his intention to replace two board members on the US Postal Service. Louis DeJoy, who has been actively sabotaging and slowing down Postal Service, can only be fired by a majority vote on the board. Previously, they have refused to do this. Therefore, President Biden is going to replace two of the board members which will allow the majority to fire DeJoy. The bad news however, is that this will not occur until next year, so mail your Christmas cards and presents as early as possible.

To interfere with the vote by mail in elections perhaps. The only ones that should be allow to vote are white uneducated males that can take the time to vote in person on election day.
DeJoy was appointed by Trump's USPS board of directors to slow down the delivery of mail-in ballots at the time of the 2020 US presidential election. Also, DeJoy has a $30 million stake in XPO Logistics, a contractor and rival of the USPS.

That's terrible! What is going on down there?? How can you stop it? I guess Coluber was right (in another thread). Democracy leads to tyranny (to paraphrase quite a bit).

Because those sorting machines were designed for letters, and the Post Office is dealing more with packages these days.
Such removals are actually routine. The Post Office adjusts its resources to demand all the time. Most of the online pictures of "mailboxes closed by Trump" are actually pictures of "mailboxes closed by Obama".
