I love acting, recording videos, talking with people but I start to feel exhausted very quickly. When that happens I cannot deal with the regular stuff like getting up early, cleaning, eating healthy, basically depression. I feel depressed all the time, except when I'm "charged" for social activities. How do I manage my social battery usage? How do I free myself from myself?
It seems like the cause of your problems is not introversion but depression. A doctor might be able to help.
The right medicine at the right dosage won't make you feel happy or different. The right medicine won't make you feel anything, but you won't feel depressed.
@Joseph8e8eue7,
I agree with Coluber. Depression is a medical prpblem.
I had good luck with talk therapy. A good therapist can refee you to a psychiatrist if you think you need medicine.
Please do talk to some professional about this.
Acting, talking with people, and doing videos take a lot of energy.
Try to pace yourself and don’t do more than 3 energy exhausting things at one time.
Eat right (avoid alcohol) and get proper rest. Pace yourself. Learn to meditate.
@Joseph8e8eue7,
Columber is correct this is not a sign of being an introvert. Part of it maybe ...meaning too much useless talking can become exhausting for an introvert believe me I feel that way some times.
But not all that regular stuff is not ... It does sound a bit more like depression where a therapist would be your best route.
There are many introverts that have had successful careers in the field you are referring so yeah it is more around that you internalize things and think things through more ..
