I have read and reread "story of the eye" by Georges Bataille more than five times. It is really an awesome work of art. I feel so. Even though it is full of pornographic excesses, fetishism, masochism and many wierd surrealistic situations, it has always made me feel like I am reading something sublime whenever I read it. I would like to suggest everyone of you to read that book and post your opinion about that. I am not going that far to explain the story here.

Great book, yes. Näive and perverted, candid and full of fluids.
I was lucky to have a woman friend recommend it to me.
