Okay, does anyone think this might end up attracting gambling addicts to cash machines?
It's got to be one of the weirdest things I've ever seen.
eh *shrug*
I think the question is the bigger picture. Why on earth are they still charging fees to their own customers and then complaining about no one using the machines. And if the problem is the economy, creating a few gambling addicts could be just the thing to spur it along. Nothing like government lotteries to strengthen the economy, our nation was founded by lottery monies. Of course those japanese will start a lottery and take over europe, theyre so much damn better at everything they do than we are... lol
Definitely blurring the lines between "business" and "pleasure".
tip of the iceberg.
i envision a day when the "ATM" will be the bank/post office/convenience store/newsstand/dvd rental/library -- all rolled into one...
IMO, the idea is disgusting, but is psychologically sound. There is nothing like "intermittent reinforcement", (the customer may win, once in awhile) to have people playing, again and again.
