In the last two years we have witnessed and overcome a good number of tests and challenges that are “especially related to our collective security,” Buhari said during a televised address marking the country’s Democracy Day.
Should the comma at “security” be outside the closing inverted commas instead of inside?

In British style the comma would be placed after the quotation mark, or outside.

I actually prefer that style and often use it even though I'm in the USA.
