I texted this guy if he wanted to hang out sometime and he replied saying next week is good. Few hours later he texted me again saying actually if some night you're in the mood dont be shy, I'll reciprocate and I told him, I'm mostly in the mood asking if Sunday is good time. He saw it but didn't reply yet and it's been a day. What was this message about if we kind of agreed to meet next week to write again and tell me not to be shy and when I offer a day he doesn't reply? I really don't get it. Just wanna play along.

I take this as "in the mood...at night" meaning in the mood for sex. To be honest - if it was me, but I can be blunt- I would text back and say ... "maybe I am misinterpreting this but are meaning you just want me to come over for sex? If so not interested, but I will meet you during the day for coffee or lunch and good conversation if you mean otherwise."

We hooked up already and tbh I also wanted to see him during the night...I did reply asking him to meet on Sunday but he didn't respond back
