JMU just beat Oklahoma in softball college World Series

It’s good when your team does well.

Southampton started off incredibly well, but in the end just managed to cling on.

My daughter was at the games yesterday and she loves Oklahoma so unfortunately for her it wasn't so good - although they do get to play (double elimination the first round) so I am sure they will go further if not win it all. Oklahoma has way too much talent.

I just love watching the underdog that no one gave a chance to win.

Either way it was a great game - often times I enjoy these games over the professional - you tend to see more play with heart and love of the game rather than money. Many of these senior young women these are the last games of their career.

If you like underdogs you should support Southampton.

We’re pretty crap.

Maybe that is why I love my daughter's high school softball team - they have lost every game most by double digits.

One more game to go - it is really painful to watch - they are horrible.

There was a couple of shining lights - my daughter got a grand slam! As a result of the other team putting in a weaker pitcher that proceeded to walk everyone to fill the bases. They put in a better pitcher that proceeded to pitch right down the middle to my daughter (probably expecting to just strike her out as most can not hit on her team) resulting in the grand slam - they still lost but at least it was within a respectful amount.

And when another mother was bragging out loud to everyone around about her daughter on the opponent's team saying she is going to get a no-hitter and my daughter not to much later got a good solid hit off her.
