Has anyone here gotten into a hobby during this pandemic? Have you tried something new, like ethnic cooking, painting, mosaic art, glass-blowing... etc.?
I have gotten into chalk pastels - a new-to-me medium. Watching some YouTubes on it and have to say, it looks doable.
Also, put up some birdhouses, feeders, and water baths.
Finally mastered lemon meringue pie, although that might have a lot to do with having a food mixer.
Did a lot of cooking and baking overall.
You saying you used to make meringue by hand?? ?
Yes, before I got a food mixer I used a butterfly whisk.
Glad you got with the program. Saves hours, sweat and tears. Maybe you don't have as good muscle mass, but they also encourage you to make things you wouldn't ordinarily because of the effort. Love my KitchenAid!
It was a Christmas present.
Someone loved you! Great gift.
