Why can't I connect to YouTube and Dailymotion on my laptop? How do I fix this?

Hi. For some odd reason I can't connect to YouTube and Dailymotion on my laptop. When I go to these sites I get an error message.

I can connect to Metacafe with no problem:

I'm posting it just to show I can connect with Metacafe with no problem.

I know YouTube and Dailymotion aren't down. A friend of mine checked to see if she could connect to these sites on her computer and she could. If this is a laptop issue how do I fix it? I have Google Chrome as my web browser and my laptop is powered by Windows 10.

I can connect to YouTube and Dailymotion on my smartphone with no problem.

This is the message that pops up when I try connecting to YouTube on my laptop:

This site can’t be reached
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

And for Dailymotion:

This site can’t be reached
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

There is also a message that reads, "Your connection to this site is not secure" for each site.
