I passed my driving test a week ago.

Can I call myself "a newly passed driver"?

Thanks!

@tanguatlay,
I would say 'newly licenced driver'.

@tanguatlay,
In the UK they would be a driver on probation, or a probationary driver.

This last two years and probationers are subject to more stringent controls. When caught committing a traffic offence the usual punishment is points on the licence. Most drivers can accumulate twelve points before their licence is revoked, with probationers it is only six.

You have a tendency to overcomplicate things and this here is another case. Try simplifying your English sentences.

Something like:
I am a new driver.
I am a beginner driver.
I got my driving license recently.

@tanguatlay,
Elaine said, "I just got my driver's licence."

In a blur, crowds ran frantically in every direction; the only lonely cry a woo hoo.
