Extremely bloating (feels like excessive trapped wind)

Hi! I am a 20 year old female, my registered doctors is at university (and i’m currently in my home city, hence why I am coming onto here for advice).
Ever since Christmas Eve (today is the 27th), I’ve had the most painful, consistent aches in my stomach - the only way I can describe it is as though I have an EXTREME amount of gas/wind trapped inside of me and it needs deflating out. No matter how much I pass wind though it doesn’t seem to ease the pain or the excessive bloating I have (my stomach literally looks pregnant).
I almost always bloat after food, so I don’t usually think too much of it, but this has been the third or fourth occasion where I have been in excruciating pain that it’s literally affecting my day-to-day functioning, over a period of days too (I feel very weak and fatigue...I have uni exams I am meant to be revising for and I am struggling because I feel so ill!!!!!).
My sister does have Coeliac disease, and has described some similar symptoms to mine - however, I have been tested for this and was negative (though, she was negative on her first test for this too). My sister is also lactose intolerant.
Whilst I am not currently keeping a food diary - I used to track my food religiously (when dieting/going the gym) and did not notice any common food culprits, so I can’t put it down to anything in particular (gluten, dairy, ect.).
I really would just like some advice on what could be wrong/anything I can do to get rid of (or at least ease) this gassy feeling. It’s really affecting me.

@bethanyj,
If you are in bad pain, you need to be contacting your doctor.

@bethanyj,
Short term or long term, your accurate answer can only come from seeing a doctor. Strangers on the Internet can’t help you. It’s irresponsible to wait.

The fact is that you’re in discomfort and pain NOW. You don’t know what it is...perhaps it’s an attack of appendicitis? Why guess? Why wait for matters to get worse. The stress of exams must be contributing to some of this, too.

@Ragman,
i’m not waiting because i WANT to. i can’t travel 3 hours across the country during a pandemic, when us students have been given a specific time frame allocated for returns. i asked for suggestions, that’s all.

@bethanyj,
You have my sympathy. You were given some suggestions and you don’t agree with them and/or find it difficult, though it’s not impossible. Traveling 3 hours is inconvenient but not impossible.

I hope for your sake that it doesn’t become an emergency. These are tough times to get ill.

Beth,

You are about the fourth person I know that has complained about this kind of a situation after the holidays, including myself, I ate way too much of all the wrong kinds of things and I have been paying for it for the last two days. However mine is not at the stage where it’s an emergency and I know exactly what I did to get in this pickle.

If you are in that kind of pain you describe, please go to the nearest emergency clinic.
