99a.
The clue was "Inflate (text).
I got PAD, but it doesn't make any sense.
Would someone please explain it to me?
Even just a sentance using PAD in relation to "Inflate (text).
Maybe the answer was not PAD and I have egg on my face.
Much appreciated.

@drillersmum85,
To pad text means to add extraneous wording, often to make word count (like if you need for an essay to be a particular length).

For example:

There was no real reason for Susan to fly to Barbados in order to meet David. (16 words long)

That's^ padded.

You can say the same thing with:

There was no reason for Susan to fly to Barbados to meet David. (13 words long)

or

Susan had no reason to fly to Barbados to meet David. (11 words long but there's a slight change in meaning)

There was no real reason for Susan to fly to Barbados in order to meet David but since time began woman have fought for self determination and the right to decide their destiny without the unwanted and unwarranted interference of control-freak men who would seek to pontificate on the choice of airline, which flight to catch, the amount of luggage, seating, in-flight entertainment, carry-on baggage, airborne food and drink, which clothes to pack and in the end Susan said to herself stuff it and decided that there was no real reason to fly to Barbados in order to meet David and instead booked a week in a lux pad on St Lucia with Geena.
