Hi,
I read my first Grisham book two days ago, the firm. It was entertaining, and I enjoyed it. I plan on reading some of his other works, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I can more easily tell you my least favorite: The King of Torts (if this was your first and you liked, the rest will be a real treat). There was little development in this book - to me it was more like a long short story. His others were all good.
I think mine would have to be the firm. I've read several of his books and even though I think he's a great writer, I also think that his stories start to sound too similar.
'The Chamber' really rocked!
I have read all of his books and my favorites are "A Time to Kill" and "Runaway Jury".
A Time to Kill hands down!
I agree - "A time to Kill" is the best. It seems many of the other novels are very similar, but "A Time to Kill" stands out.
The only other one that I highly recommend is "Rainmaker". It really touches on issues about health care.
I liked The Testament. I thought it was a little different than his other books.
The Juror. He is one of these conveyor belt Authors but the yarns are good enough to read,
