Maine Coons have a wonderful temperment. That's another reason I love them so much.

My daughter has a Norwegian Forest cat. He's the one with his head on the base of the scratching post. These type of cats lose their "beards" when they are indoors, so look a little different.
He's a very gentle giant.

so, if they are made a housecat, you wont see the long hairs below their chin as much?
interesting.
they have beautiful faces. I love their cheeks and the shape of their noses.

Yes, apparently, they do lose beard eventually. When my daughter got him, just under a year, he had the beard.
The other cat is is a Russian Blue cat.
They're from my thread, "Reyn's Cats". I included her cats, too.
The Tonkinese is cute, too.

MMmm, I had four kittens born into my life (the parents came with an apartment I subletted). He was the first to leave the little nest. I was in the kitchen making a burrito when I heard a little teeny tiny screech. I looked down to see a little black and white ball on the floor waaaaaaayyyy down below my eye level. Such a tiny little thing.
