Indigenous Boy Artist MAYA Signature Help, Thank You!

Hi Folks,

I found this oil painting 11 3/4" x 15 3/4" (or 30cm x 40cm) at the swap meet. It is oil on canvas on what appears to be a frame made from hand hewn wood. The second photo is a closeup of the artist's signature. The third shows the back of the canvas and frame.

Any help in identifying the artist would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
