Would You Voluntarily Give Up Driving As I Did?

I gave up driving and sold my car, cancelled my auto insurance with 3A after 40 years and started using Uber. I have Neuropathy in both legs and feet and could not feel the pedals. I wanted to make the decision rather than be forced to.

There are cars made with hand controls for gas and brakes. Handicapped people have been using this method for a while now.

I myself gave up on driving when, I realized it was going to have the potential of turning deadly for somebody.

My driving consisted of never using the rearview mirror, crossing 3 lanes of traffic at an angle, stopping in crosswalks....

At least I gave it a try.
