I love this quote of hers.....


Asked two decades ago to explain her longevity, this "Steel Magnolia" told a Screen Actors Guild interviewer, "I don't understand the question -- I'm only 78 years old!"

There is certainly a lot of years between 104 and 78.
People want to lump "old people" all together, like they're interchangeable.

A 104 year old would have as much in common with at 78 year old, as a 52 year old would have with a 26 year old.
