He also had an interesting resume in the world of film, including various Star Trek appearances and Sharknado 3

May he rest peacefully.

One memorable episode of Mythbusters was when they tested some long-ago inventor's claim to have caused a small earthquake with an oscillator he had invented. Grant invented an oscillator of his own, a five pound contraption, attached it to a bridge, and got it to vibrate the way it would in an earthquake. That was pretty frigging impressive.

RIP, Grant.

I love the time they put a cannon ball through two homes and a car by error.

Thankfully no one was hurt and if I was the car owner I would have had them sign the ball an then sell it on ebay.

Lord it was a great show.

He was far far to0 young to died in his sleep

@BillRM,
I recall when they made the cannons out of wood and one out of duck tape.

It looks like Grant Imahara worked on one of the most beloved characters of 2020 before he died: Grogu AKA Baby Yoda.

@tsarstepan,
That's a show that will live on. It was the perfect series IMHO. They tried to redux it with others and that one flew like a lead glider

@farmerman,
actually it would hav ben a lead balloon, but if MB were still on the air,Adam an Jamie would have had the build team come up with an actual lad balloon that did or didnt fly, and they would do it with style and a lot of C-4
