Elpus, don't be a moron. The USA is already the largest source of charity the world knows or ever has known.
You want to bash us for being generous, while asking for more, more more? "Oh, that awful USA won't donate their GNP to save the starving people in Africa". Give us all a break. That kind of thinking will get you nowhere.
What do you want us to do? Go in and create a bunch of Iraqs where the thugs in power become the insurgency, because they actually enjoyed killing and starving the general populace? Hmmm?
Honestly, the only solution to these kind of problems is to kill all the murderous despot thugs that populate the goverments of Africa. But someone will likely just take their place, and how do we look then, for trying to actually help, instead of just throwing money on the fire, as this "Live whatever" does?
You obviously chose to ignore the rest of the article because you know the truth about Zimbabwe.
actually, no money was asked for for the live 8 concerts or screenings, the idea was not to throw money at the problem but to unite as many people as possible to show and put pressure the govenments of leading countries how their people feel.
p.s why did nobody perform under pressure this time round? tony blair and George Bush would have done an excellent duet im sure!
Really tasteless angelina, especially after yesterday.
