sturgis, does that meet with your approval?
Just because the word I put in doesn't make sense when you see it, you ever think that from the time I put it in until its posted there maybe posts that weren't in place?

I was referring to places where you used two or three letters from the middle of a word and there was a gap of several minutes (and more) since the preceding post. When there were two or three letters from a preceding word...from the center of the word, not the end...I did look back further, in fact 3 or 4 posts prior to see if it was a matter of having a slow posting time and it never was. The letters were invariably from the previous post and not from just it last letter or letters but from earlier points in the word and with failure to include the last letter of the preceding word. In those cases it was clear you misunderstood the format of 'last letter(s)' This as such was not the issue. The issue was that even after others...and make no mistake of it ralpheb, I was not the first...had informed you, you continued along the same path. What set me off the other day was when it happened from another poster who has a tendency similar to yours and I was fed up with it. These things happen. Occasional missteps are going to happen and I don't comment on them. It is when it becomes a persistent matter of error that I will comment and if after that there is not a change, yes, I do snap the head off of the offender...it gives me a perverse pleasure which I see no reason to forfeit.

Lastly, do not take it all too personally, and feel free to make attacks on my errors.
