Do Steve Earle and the Dukes remind you of early Kenny Rodgers....I just found him on Austin City Limits........first time (I think) I've ever heard his music. Haven't made up my mind, yet.

I'd be totally surprised if you'd never heard this song before. It was huge. Regardless, No. Kenny had no vocal range, didn't really have an accent and Steve writes really political stuff, Kenny wrote mostly fluff.

This woman has perfect pitch, and has had all her life. She is the greatest singer alive today.

Steve Earl's not bad. I just haven't been listening to him.

Amazing Grace is one of my most favorite songs, by a variety of artists. The version played here by Setanta is great and gets added to my list.
