Welcome pannyoo, I think the short answer is that it is a big forum with thousands of members.

The reason why the General forum receives so many replies, is that all the lovely people dwell here.

The ugly ones tend to use the Politics thread a lot, the grumpy ones head for the "evolution" threads, the naughty ones lurk in the "relationships" sector, and the Germans tend to wander around, trying to find out where everyone is in the world, most of the time.

There is a small French contingent, which can be found anywhere that is populated by ladies.

The Americans spend most of their time, extolling the virtues of their own favoured President/political party/sports team/car/beer, and nearly everyone wants something translated into latin at one stage of their life.

There is also a very popular "Rap Battle" thread, but I havent a clue as to what goes on, really.

These various groups of people pop in to the "General" forum, from time to time, and us "lovely" residents are honoured by their presence.

I think they visit us for some good, sensible, common sense plain talking.

Look out for Kickycan, Slappy Doo Hoo and Gus Ratzenhofer in this, and the Humour section.

They talk a lot of sense, and have given me valuable guidance in the past.

Enjoy the site, but come in and visit the beautiful people from time to time, eh?

Now, back to the question. A2K has the very best group of people I ever found anywhere else on the internet and as my father use to say "if it's not broken, don't fix it."
Just a very small portion of that group are here and there are so many more, so I welcome you to our growing A2K family :-D
