The human mind has the capacity to maintain expectations based on past experiences that are no longer relevant to the present situation.
Many people these days are probably wanting to 'go back to normal' as if COVID19 never existed, even though it must continue to exist if it wasn't/isn't the hoax that conspiracy theorists believed.
What's interesting is that it is practically the same feeling as the one behind MAGA (make America great again), in which people romanticize the past instead of seeking to move forward and reform things so they'll be better.
So how many people who were/are critical of MAGA would like to 'just go back to normal' as the COVID19 infection/death rates go down, instead of moving forward with reforms that can prevent the next pandemic from spreading when it hits?
Are you hoping for a better future or wishing for the past?

@livinglava,
Only 'Now' Exists. The 'past/future' are distractions.
Thanks for labelling me as a 'conspiracy-theorist', too.
Glad to be so, in your minds' eye.
Have a Lovely Day
