Doctors are not meeting patients in person

My daughter had an eye issue the past few days - it was getting worse so I said it would be best to call the doctor as it could be pink eye and she might need medicine.

Upon calling the office we were told all nurses are working from home (didn't know this was an option). So a nurse called back and said it could be a few things and would need to talk with the doctor. So now the doctor meets over the phone no in office visits.

Now I did not want her to go to a medical office any way - doctor said it could be a couple of things sent a prescription in. Well it least it hopefully did not cost us anything for an office visit.
