I'm not someone who is an avid consumer of poetry...probably because I seldom understand it..., but that was powerful. It seems I understand only when a poet is actually reading the work ... but again, it was powerful.

I just read the link....from the beginning, I knew some of the story but I didn't know about the methadone being refused. The anger in this country worries me, but I didn't think we would ever let it mushroom into a big cloud of hate. I'm not so sure anymore.

The anger that brought on the Civil War has never eased, maybe never will.
