I heard knickers at first when I heard it quickly but then when I really listened closely I heard the N word,, but in her defense it did sound like a stutter so I kind of side with her. I think she made the mistake as she said -- but it did come out as N--s in the end.
Personally if this happened to me - I would say I am truly embarrassed. I heard it and it certainly says N word but when I tried to recover from saying the wrong thing it came out completely wrong.
