Rainsoft Gold Series 08/06/02 updated 2019 Brine Tank Overflow

Dropping in 50lb blocks of salt, I crushed the well tube, j-tube, screwed up safety shut off valve(from the broken plastic pieces}, found parts on line, no problem. Need to identify my brass DLFC housing and find a replacement (with 1.5 button) the housing has corroded at the male threads. Will i screw up my warranty by saving the $100 plus parts service call?
