She just had a game last night where she got 23 points - one of which was a half court shot. Sadly the team still lost by 3 - she had all but 10 points for her team. Tough when you have a team where your high school is less than 70 kids, of which there are more boys than girls.

It registered my vote yesterday and again this morning. I'm not in the U.S.

Thanks all - she moved to 3rd place - would be tough to get higher as the top two are in the 300s and we are late to the game. I knew she was a player of the week earlier but I had no idea there was voting involved.

But she is happy that is ahead of two other girls - you know that sort of rivalry - girl on other team has attitude and thinks she is all that - or another girl that you play that team and seem to always just come up short - yes there are two other girls like that - she is ahead of them so that is all my daughter cares about!

It does help her though to be chosen as a player of the week as she would like to play in college - not a top division as she wants to enjoy college life as well, but she loves the game and wants to continue playing.
