I would nominate Colubers two threads(from which we would have to vote on one I suppose). He posted a very good thread on "Favorite Periods of ARt", and another about The ubiquity of "ARTHROPODS" Or something like that.

BEST IDEA FOR CONSUMERS 2019,
I nominate ballastless LED kitchen and workshop tube lights. You can bathe yourself in sunlite at a relatively low cost and without any major tinkering.

Hasn't come out in the US (as far as I can remember). The studio didn't even bother to give it a 2019 Oscar qualifying run for Los Angeles.

Looked it up. It comes out this weekend (according to Google). Though IMDb doesn't have the 10th of January listed on its respective release page.

Fair enough, it's not normally the case that something is released over here first, not at the cinema anyway.

On Pointless the other day the category was phrases involving food. The story that goes with 'spill the beans' was that it comes from the ancient Greeks who would vote using a black or white bean. If someone knocked over the container and spilled the beans the result would be known early.

Having said that they thought it was apocryphal.
