2019 wasn't a good year, lets hope we all sober up, remember to be honest, truthful and non-asshats. Happy 2020!!

@glitterbag,
Happiness is a fleeting concept to me these days but life goes on.

So to all still with us, still soldiering on, I wish you all a Happy New Year.

Gawd knows what 2020 has lined up for us, I shudder to think.

@glitterbag,
You wouldn't be quite so happy about new year if you lived next door to Scotland. This was a regular feature of New Year, this is from New Year 1986.

I would say enjoy, but you won't. Honestly, this is the sort of **** we had to endure, (only 4 channels back then.)

@izzythepush,
Why am I nostalgic of those days, the cheesy '80s?
Well, I was very young back then...I guess this proves if you are young enough you can be nostalgic about anything.
Anyway I think there is more to it, in the 80's the faking was natural and amateurish not professional. I guess I like that!

Amazing as it may seem, I'm still schlepping along, so 2020 looms large on the horizon.

Happy new year to all.

@Fil Albuquerque,
I've never thought about it that way before, "the faking was natural and amateurish"...that rings true. The glorification of cynicism is getting tiresome.

@glitterbag,
Im trying to go through one day at a time in which I dont hear anything disgusting or dishonorable about yoonohoo. Id like to see this year end at a beautiful cleanup and disenfection in Washington DC. Hes polluted the swamp.

OUTSIDE A that, Im gonna really retire and only do some teaching and field work for others.
Im spending my time in our studio here, Mrs F and I are once again heavily involved in our art passions.

We delivered a small bag of cookies to our neighbors grandkids,We did it with a little drop rig on my drone My neighbor caught the cookies and the drone came home and plugged itself in for supper. AFter that we watched some movies ad were fast asleep by 11, SO WE MISSED the cannon fire.
