AOL IM virus warning

yesterday, i got an IM from someone i have not heard from in a long time. it was a link. when i clicked on it, it asked me to save/open a .exe file. i cancelled and then asked the person what the link was to. the only reponse i got was the link again. then the person logged off AOL.

it turns out, they had a virus that froze their computer completely but sent everyone in their AIM buddy list the same virus. once the other person clicks on it and opens the file, they get the virus.

just a warning in case this happens to anyone else. Very Happy
