I wouldn't disagree with you there C.I. but thats not what I meant, what I'm asking is this: is it a Batchelor of Arts degree, or a Masters degree? How high does it get?

A PhD would be the highest achievement in music.

A doctorate from Berklee or Julliard (sp?). Those are the most famous "music" schools. The guitarist from Dream Theater was from Berklee. I guess that's why he so good.
